How to tell which receiver you need?

If you purchased the Shredder wireless guitar at the Walmart store, this is the correct receiver you need.
If you have the TAC Freedom V wireless guitar that needs Guitar Hero II adaptor to play Guitar Hero II, you need GTR-RCVR-G1 receiver.
If you have the TAC Freedom V wireless guitar that does not need Guitar Hero II adaptor to play Guitar Hero II, there are 2 version of the receiver depends on the version of the guitar controller you have.
- If your original receiver has one RED LED, then you need GTR-RCVR-G2
- If your original receiver has 2 LEDs, one RED and one GREEN, then you need GTR-RCVR-G2V2

* This is NOT the Guitar Hero II adaptor to make your guitar controller compatible with Guitar Hero II game. If you need the Guitar Hero II adaptor, it is GTR-WL-ADPT for Wireless version and GTR-W-ADPT for Wired version
